Data Processing
Other Processing
The HDSS Taabo uses exactly 15 types of constant questionnaires for each round. Each of these questionnaires is embodied within what is referred to as "DSS Manager" on the input platform. The design of this input platform was conducted using the software version of WINDEV 15. It is also used to update the terms and variables to update during the surveillance round. However editing the main questionnaire that is to say "household notebook" is from the "Microsoft Access" package.
At the end of the data processing so after clean the various fallacies of each data table, tables will be created. These new tables will be created by the merger of the main namely in migration, outmigration, death, birth and pregnancy. The result of these mergers is the complete list of households and the names of those responsible households, the list of women with a pregnancy and the list of households without GPS coordinates.
As for document control, it is manual and is the exclusive concern of field workers. Indeed IT puts the individual at their disposal tools and materials to start monitoring them and are responsible for thoroughly checking for all documents in their possession. Then identify errors that may have during conception or during printing.
Three days after the start of field surveys, the first questionnaires will be filed in the near field manager for verification and presence of all related records used in each questionnaire. This verification will be carried out through sheets of controls developed for this purpose. Following deposits questionnaires to the field manager, it will carry out a second check of each questionnaire, a check fallacy or omissions. It will transmit the duly verified questionnaires entry through the supervisor seizure operations. A third check will be made and the entry will begin. However filters and controls implemented at the entry platform to allow three data entry operators to capture the maximum of errors that have escaped the manual checks.
When during the seizure of the information is not updated by the data entry operators, such information will be directly caught by the manager of the database with SQL server. The procedure is the same for update information whose columns are not accessible to operators. These procedures are also primary data processing techniques to improve the quality of data entered in full entry data.
