All hard copies of the data are stored in safes with restrictrd access to concerend researchers only. Enterd data are anonimized before sharing in case necessary; with persons interested in analyzing the data for scientific purposes.
iSHARE2 microdata is anonymised and no confidentiality agreement in addition to the general data use agreement is required.

By virtue of being member of INDEPTH Network, Vadu HDSS it is mandatory to share data for public access. While doing so, strict confidentiality is maintained by anonymising the data that are identified only with discrete numbers and no names are disclosed. Data sharing happens as per INDEPTH Data Sharing and Access policy and only within India's data sharing and access policy.

Any use of this dataset must cite the digital object identifier (doi) associated with this dataset. Using the following form:
